Looking Beyond WLS: Reverse the Post-Op Regain is a hybrid coaching program. This program gives you my key strategies for managing and reversing weight regain after WLS, refined over the last nine years.
The hybrid coaching program is a combination of:
Private 1:1 monthly appointments
Five (5) modules with over 20 short, educational and easy-to-digest video lessons. These build your bariatric knowledge and ensure you go from confused to confident.
Chat Access in-between appointments for ongoing support and accountability.
The combination of online modules plus the 1:1 appointments and in-between coaching via a chat app, ensures you will accelerate your results and transform your relationship with food within six months.
By the end of the program, you’ll:
Understand weight regain and learn how to take charge of reversing it.
Understand the building blocks of nutrition - protein, fat, carbohydrates. You will then learn how to develop a meal or eating plan that works for you and your lifestyle.
Learn how to treat and manage reactive hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) after WLS.
Learn strategies to maintain consistency with WLS eating behaviours, helping you to keep satisfied between meals and minimise any gastrointestinal symptoms.
Take steps towards cultivating a healthy gut after weight loss surgery
Use the knowledge provided in this course to develop a healthier relationship with food
Realise that you’ll never have to ‘diet’ again!
Each lesson builds upon the previous one. You will learn all aspects of bariatric nutrition, including information that you may wish to have known at the start. Weight loss during or after this program cannot be promised.
I have developed this course over the last year, pouring all the knowledge I have to help you reverse weight regain. I share all my secrets and strategies that I have devised over my seven years of consulting thousands of patients after weight loss surgery, to maximise nutrition, keep you satisfied between meals and help you create a healthier mindset so you never have to ‘diet’ again. All you have to do is implement the strategies and take the time to complete the ‘homework’ in order to put new skills into routine. If you change your habits, you will then change your life.
My name is Suraya Nikwan. I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist that has worked with people like you over the last nine years. Prior to this, I undertook a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and Bachelor of Biomedical Science.
Born and bred in Brisbane, I have an established private practice within Greenslopes. I have been frustrated by the number of people that I have seen that don’t know what or how to eat years after their weight loss surgery. I set out to develop this program to help you feel more confident with food, while also providing more support to you between appointments.
Aside from working with my clients 1-1 in clinic or online; I am a busy Mum of two children under three and an aspiring horticulturist.

Overall each video are less than 20 minutes in duration. I try to keep all my information easy to digest.
If you watched one video a day, you would be complete in just under one month. This will help you access the nutrition knowledge quickly.
Consultations with Suraya are between 45-60 minutes once a month for the duration of the program.
